Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Archana Puri

Born on December 13, 1964 to Smt. Nirmal and Sh.HarkrishanLal Soni. Her father was an eminent lawyer at Ludhiana. Had been a student of Sacred Heart Convent School, Ludhiana and passed All India Secondary School Examination in the year 1980. She completed her B.A.(Hons.) in the year 1984 and LL.B. in the year 1987 from Panjab University, Chandigarh. JoinedPunjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch)on February 14, 1991. Promoted as Additional District and Session Judge in the year 2001 and worked as such at Patiala, Amritsar and Barnala. Designated as District and Sessions Judge in the year 2012 and worked as such at Faridkot, Mansa, SAS Nagar and also remained posted as Presiding Officer, State Transport Appellate Tribunal-cum-Presiding Officer, Food Safety Appellate Tribunal, Punjab. Happily married to Sh. Vivek Puri and both of them have been elevated as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on November 28, 2019. Thereafter, has been appointed as Permanent Judge on October 25, 2021.
